Context
Conecta Migrants & Refugees is a Bridge for Billions initiative that helps local Entrepreneurship Support Organizations (ESOs) run incubation programs for migrant and refugee entrepreneurs, to make the Italian economy more inclusive. I co-managed its implementation in Italy, working with three ESOs in Lombardy, Lazio and Campania.
What I did
- Co-managed the incubation program, monitoring the progress of entrepreneurs and mentors every week
- Organized extra activities for the cohort: networking events, expert trainings and Q&A sessions
- Supported and trained the three partner ESOs through weekly calls and dedicated training sessions
- Mapped and engaged new partners in the entrepreneurship and migration ecosystem
- Selected the top 10 entrepreneurs, coached them on their pitch and organized the final Pitch Competition
- Reported KPIs, feedback and testimonials to the client and supported the final impact assessment
