UNITE 2030 Community

Context

UNITE 2030 is a global youth movement working on the Sustainable Development Goals. I joined through its leadership program, first as a Youth Delegate in Community Engagement and then as Group Lead in Community Growth. I was then hired to manage its virtual community and its partnerships.

What I did

• Started in the leadership program as Youth Delegate (Community Engagement) and Group Lead (Community Growth), then joined the team as Community & Partnerships Manager
• Managed a virtual community of 15,000+ members through content, online events and activities across all social channels
• Developed engagement strategies for virtual and in-person events
• Designed and led the Ambassador Program, recruiting and training 120 ambassadors to advocate for the SDGs in their local communities
• Built strategic partnerships with NGOs, universities and foundations, including the Obama Foundation and UNDP
